If the casting of Daniel Radcliffe as “eccentric” Yankovic in an upcoming musical bio about an accordion parody artist hasn’t piqued your interest yet, perhaps the first trailer for Stranger: The Jankovic Story will. Radcliffe stars as Jankovi? in the early ’80s for the Roku streaming channel, the kind of thing one would do when you have Harry Potter relics to support your most creative endeavour.

Joining Radcliffe on his autobiography “Weird Al” is Evan Rachel Wood as Madonna and Rainn Wilson as Doctor Demento. The film was written by Al Jankovic and Eric Appel. Appel directs, and his credits include TV series such as new girlAnd Brooklyn Nine-NineAnd NTSF: SD: SUV.
