One of the invaders can be heard saying that he came under heavy fire from the Ukrainian armed forces at night and complained about the shortage of personnel.
“We have three people on duty here all day,” said one of the speakers, presumably a Russian soldier, in the interception clip.
“There is hardly time to sleep. If it were so that some were here, and some – there. As it is, these three are on guard all night, and four – there. In the morning, when we went out, they began [pounding] Us with AGS (Gnade Grenade Systems). At first, they hit the field, then they got closer and closer. Some “transiters” were walking around. Not only did they hit us, they hit us too [pummeled] Someone else is there.”
Another participant in the conversation replied that a tank unit near them had also come under fire.
“One 200, one 300,” said the other participant, referring to Russian military symbols for the dead and wounded.
“that they [struck] At night. A reconnaissance group came and sabotaged. They showed us everything. And he told us everything. There is nothing worth taking and leaving with him. Trash everywhere. Either (the device) drives and does not shoot, or it shoots and does not drive.”
Several intercepted Russian military talks revealed that morale was low and rapidly deteriorating among the invaders, due to heavy casualties and poor supplies. Military experts commented that the poor logistics of the Russian army was a major factor in their loss in the Battle of Kyiv.
