These two easy celebrity pastas are perfect for summer

Rachel said she added shredded basil right before she took the first bite, and suggests anyone else doing it at home should do the same. Fresh, light, and perfectly salty, she said, the scented basil leaves balanced out the strong flavors coming from the tomato pudding.

One main part of this dish came from Feather-like carpentry of cheese, which Rachel said doesn’t weigh this dish the same way as melted mozzarella.

There are several ingredients to this dish that make it perfect for preparing a meal or serving it at a dinner party. You can make this meal in batches by pre-cooking the tomatoes and setting the basil aside until you are ready to serve.

No matter how many portions you cook (this recipe serves four as is), Rachel says she recommends making an additional tomato fudge because it will go with so many other dishes.

To keep the tomatoes sweet, Nusrat recommends submerging them in a bowl of olive oil for up to six weeks. For long-term storage, you can also freeze the candy first in a single layer on a baking tray, then transfer it to a freezer bag once frozen, where it will keep for up to six months.
